The Passive Radiation Shield for the external temperature sensor arrived today and has been fitted. Noticed a drop in the readings and am hopeful now that we are getting as accurate data as we can with this instrument
6th August 2005
The north facing skycam is now operational and I am trying different software packages for uploading the images to the site looking for one that can handle multiple cameras - well.
2nd August 2005
All the ground instruments are now up and running including the new Soil Temperature sensor

The idea to create a weather station to serve the town of St Ives, Cambridgeshire started to come to fruition and work commenced building this website.
